Tips for a Perfect Grass-Fed Ribeye Steak

Ribeye Steak is a carnivore favorite.  When cooking grass-fed steaks, which are lower in calories and fat than conventionally raised beef, there are a couple tips to help achieve the results your mouth is watering for.

1.  Allow the steaks to come to room temperature before grilling.  30-45 min. on your counter will do.

2.  Cook the steaks undisturbed for 2-3 minutes per side.  This helps retain the moisture.

3.  Don't over-cook grass-fed beef.  It is best served medium-rare, due to the lower fat content compared with a grain fed meats.

4.  Remove from the heat to a serving plater and cover.  Let set for 7 minutes or so, then slice and serve.  This resting process will help the juices stay in the steak.
